to book a special collection

In March 2011 T.R.E.E. took over the special collection service for Braintree District Council, collecting large items of Household waste.

The majority of the bulky waste collected by Braintree District Council was being sent to landfill. They decided they wanted to divert more items away from landfill. To do this, it was decided that a pilot would be run for a charitable re-use organisation to undertake the service. As there was no furniture reuse project with the capabilities to run such a service in the Braintree District, T.R.E.E. was identified as an alternative provider.

The service run by T.R.E.E. for Braintree District Council operates 5 days a week, excluding public holidays, and covers the entire Braintree District. Collections are arranged by T.R.E.E.'s call centre.

Up to 6 items can be collected per special collection at a price of £30*
