Local Bulky Waste Specialist Collections Throughout Essex

Collections and Disposals within 48 hours

We are looking for donations of good quality working electrical items and furniture.

We collect bulky items including Washing Machines, Tumble Driers, Dishwashers, Fridges/Freezers, Wardrobes, Chests of Drawers, 2 & 3 Piece Suites, Sofas, Beds, Tables & Chairs.

If we can reuse the items, they are collected free of charge.
  • Soft furnishings require a valid fire label and must be free from rips, tears & stains.
  • Electrical appliances must be in full working order, with no rust
  • Refrigeration door seals must be intact with no splits

We also can collect local bulky waste. If the items are not suitable for reuse, we offer a disposal service where we will take the items away for a fee. Our list of disposal fees can be seen here: Furniture Disposal & Electrical Disposal

To book a collection or a disposal, call us on 0300 9999 007 or email us here: Contact Page

We also accept smaller items, however, we do ask that they are brought into our centres at Oakwood Centre, Little Clacton (CO16 9ND) or the Community Warehouse Shop, Chelmsford (CM1 1GU).

You are also welcome to bring larger items to us directly if you have the means to do so, however they will still be subjected to the same inspection on arrival before we can accept them in.

Residents in the Braintree area of Essex can book for a bulky waste collection by calling 0300 1111 007. Please click here for more details on the service provided.

By donating your unwanted items, you will be helping your local furniture project to provide good quality low cost furniture and appliances to the public.
This is furniture that would otherwise be left unused or even broken down.
Reusing these items is beneficial to both the local community, and to the environment.
Bulky waste items we are unable to use are recycled in an environmentally safe way.
