The Resource Awards highlight achievements by the local charity operating in the waste and recycling industry and T.R.E.E. was recognised for demonstrating the best all-round contribution to the community, the environment and education.

“I am delighted that T.R.E.E. has received this award,” said Mr Penn,“it’s great that everyone’s hard work here is acknowledged. However, it’s not just T.R.E.E. that has been recognised but it sets an example to private industries that the third sector are able to deliver quality service whilst making a difference within the community.  We will be investing the award money on further training for our staff to increase the diversification around reuse and recycling opportunities, capacity building and the strengthening of T.R.E.E..”

T.R.E.E.’s head office is located in Little Clacton, with three warehouses and three shops in the Clacton town centre.
